Omanu School rounded off Term Two with an information packed couple of weeks of Food for Thought resulting in some great positive learnings from everyone involved. And some great feedback from the teachers.
Also a massive Thank You to Mount Maunganui New World for their ongoing support of local schools.
Teacher feedback;
The Food for Thought Programme is excellent, our children learnt so much.
Relevant and appropriate real life skills and knowledge with the kids engaged throughout the lessons and interested in the content.
Enthusiastic delivery and really engaging. Nice, clear introduction of knowledge/concepts, with the lessons
having a great impact and providing a lot to think about beyond the classroom.
The Teacher Manual is an excellent resource and the Supermarket Experience is great real life learning.
